Each organization involved in Cornerstone is involved in the effort to recognize the coaches who participate in Cornerstone. Recognition awards are given to organizations that engage in the use of Cornerstone. Organizations also receive capacity-building and grant-writing support.

How does Cornerstone help an organization establish its own WHY or support an already established WHY?

Cornerstone integrates with the resources currently being used by the organization. Cornerstone highlights and supports the stated goals of the organization. Cornerstone recognizes those organizations that engage in Cornerstone behaviors - specifically crafted to support the child's overall development.

How will organizations be recognized for using Cornerstone?

Cornerstone is designed to make the coaching experience more enjoyable. By doing so, the organization increases the likelihood that the coach (and families) will return the next season. Cornerstone highlights measurable lifetime values that every family will appreciate, and each coach will be proud to deliver that value. Cornerstone creates a conversation that helps all stakeholders move beyond emphasizing the won/loss record or the potential for college scholarships.

How does Cornerstone help an organization SUPPORT coaches?

Cornerstone works in harmony with the existing Coach Training initiatives. Cornerstone is designed to make the coaching experience more enjoyable. Cornerstone engages parents to deliver a more enjoyable youth sport experience. Cornerstone highlights a coach's role in creating a positive youth sports experience.

Cornerstone is specifically crafted to highlight the desired measurable success of the organization to the coach and engage the coach in playing a role in the organization achieving that measureable success. Cornerstone engages coaches in behaviors that support the organization’s goals.
